Young Africans reflect on Fr Colin

Marist formator, Fr Albert Kabala SM, reports from the community of St Peter Chanel, in Yaounde, Cameroon:

'Every year in December and in April, we have a day of Marist studies when our students are asked to share their reflections on Fr Founder. We had our Marist studies day here on Dec 23. The students presented their reflections on three topics on Fr Colin:

    • Transformation of Fr Colin from a shy boy to a great preacher at Cerdon and later on to a Founder
    • His moral values
    • His place in the Marist project and mission in Oceania'

During Dec 26-30 Fr Albert will go with a group of Marists aspirants from Yaoundé to Bamenda (Bambili) for a vocational camp.
